We finally reached halfway mark as we left Waco. We drove through Texas for what felt like an eternity, a solid eleven hours. To my surprise, I saw more wind turbines during this drive than I ever would have expected... as far as the eye could see. At one point we drove for a solid hour surrounded on both sides by these turbines. Soon after our drive was full of overwhelming views of nature. We could tell we were getting closer to Santa Fe by the changing rock colors and the shift in vegetation. Red and orange rocks took over our car window views. Upon our arriva,l we instantly noticed all of the adobe houses, they were all simply picturesque. They were scattered across the earth unlike any typical suburban street.

After a long trip we were happy to reach our Airbnb, look at this lovely entrance...This space ended up being one of our favorite places that we stayed in.

The next day we went into town to explore all that Santa Fe had to offer.

This next few images are in the Santa Fe Plaza, the heart of Santa Fe.

Couldn't pass up taking a shot of this old Chevy. Wish I had gotten the front though...

After eating some lunch we headed over to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum. Below are some of the works that I felt most interesting.

At some point we were ready to explore outside the main hub of Santa Fe. We decided to simply drive through the high desert for the rest of the night.

The views, atmosphere, and roads all made for a memorable experience. Lighting was just right, the type of lighting that makes you realize just how beautiful this world can be.

Here I am on top of a wall.

Just so I could get this shot...

We returned to our Airbnb before packing up and moving on to the next place.

The entrance was too nice to pass up this shot. I swear we will be back here some day!

Our next stop...Colorado. Stay tuned.
